If you have volunteer coaches, who you don’t want to have access to any student records other than eligibility, we have a solution for you.

  1. Create a teacher account for the coach via the Staff page.
  2. Create a sports class and assign the new coach as the Teacher of the class
  3. Log into their account using the Log In As Teacher button via the Staff tab
  4. Click the Alerts tab and choose to receive email alerts on

There’s no need to provide the coach with a username/password once you’ve done this, however, if you do allow them to log-in, the coach will NOT have access to any student records because student records are only available via Standard or Custom Class Types – not sports Class Types
