1. Can we set up email alerts for parents?
2. Can we set academic and attendance alerts for parents?
Solution:
Students and parents can choose to subscribe to email alerts regarding both grades and attendance. Grade alerts are sent out every hour. This means that in most cases if a teacher makes a mistake they will have time to correct it without ever triggering an email alert. Attendance and conduct alerts are sent immediately.
- When logged in as a parent, click on the Alerts tab.
- Make sure the correct class is selected at the top.
- Apply the various alerts you would like to receive.
- If you would like the settings to apply to all classes, click the "Apply these settings to all of 'Student' classes."
- Click Submit Changes.
