Schools have the ability to control whether or not family address information stored in Gradelink will be submitted to WISEdata.
To control whether or not family address information will be submitted to WISEdata, go to the Settings tab and click on the "School Profile" button near the bottom of the page.
On the School Profile page, change the active sub-tab from "General" to "WISEdata". You should see a toggle button called "Submit Student addresses".
If this setting is set to "NO", then family address information will not be included when student records are submitted to WISEdata. Administrators will also text in the WISEdata interface explaining that the school has opted out, and the address fields will be disabled.
If this setting is set to "YES", families will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out manually using a new field that appears on the Parent Interface. To access this field, open the "My Account" menu by clicking on the icon at the top of the page, then click "My Settings". The field appears under the "WISEdata" header.
If parents choose to opt-out of submitting their address information, then Administrators will see slightly different text in the WISEdata interface. The address fields will also be disabled as mentioned above.
