The Language section of the Documents page is the ideal place for Administrators to record which students speak multiple languages and/or are developing English proficiency.

To do so:

  1. Go to the Students Tab
  2. Select the student you would like to record language information for
  3. Click on Documents
  4. Check the box labeled Language

There are two fields in the Language Procificency box: one for recording the student's Primary Language and another for recording their English Proficiency. Neither are mandatory, so feel free to leave one or the other blank depending on which information your school actually tracks.

Once you're done, don't forget to hit Save at the bottom of the page.

Note: Languages recorded in the Documents page do not impact the available Languages that appear in the My Account section of Gradelink.
