Possible Scenario:

1. Our school uses demerits, how do we keep track of them?


Solution:

Demerits are included on Gradelink's list of "Actions Taken" by default, so it is easy to record them using the Counseling section of the Students tab.


To do so:

  1. Go to the Students Tab
  2. Click on the name of the student you would like to add a demerit for
  3. Click on Counseling
  4. Choose a Grade Level in the Drop down menu
  5. Choose "Demerit" in the Action Taken/Referred To drop down menu



When you're all done, don't forget to click the Save button at the bottom of the page.


Note: While it is possible to properly save demerits with only selecting the Grade Level, it remains important to fill out each incident with as much information as possible.
